Energy and power plant technology

For more than 35 years we have been working for energy and incineration plants at home and abroad. In particular, this includes the following types of power plants:

Power supply

  • Coal-fired power plants (lignite and hard coal)
  • Gas power plants (CCGT, gas engines, etc.)
  • Biomass plants
  • Nuclear power plants

Waste management

  • Waste incinerators
  • Hazardous waste incinerators
  • Substitute fuel incineration
  • Sewage sludge incinerations

In addition to the main areas of firing, steam generation and flue gas purification, we have a broad knowledge of various auxiliary and ancillary systems in power plant technology. Three systems in particular can be distinguished in the field of firing, where the chemical energy of fossil fuels is released:

  • fixed and movable grate furnaces and special grates (e.g. rotary kiln)
  • stationary and circulating fluidized bed furnaces
  • burner firing systems (gas, oil and pulverized coal firing systems)

Likewise, the steam generator, including all heating surfaces from the evaporator and superheater, as well as flue gas purification are also part of our daily business. As a sustainable company, we are pleased to actively protect the environment by ensuring compliance with legally required pollution limits (e.g. 13th or 17th Federal Immissions Protection Act – BImSchV) and are therefore very familiar with a wide range of flue gas purification systems:

  • Dust collection systems (electrical separators, filtering separators, mass force separators, wet separators)
  • Desulfurization plants (dry process, semi-dry process, wet process)
  • Denitrification plants (SCR process, SNCR process)
  • Dioxin, furan and heavy metal reduction

It goes without saying that our experienced engineers are also well versed in all relevant auxiliary and ancillary systems including water treatment, wastewater treatment as well as electrical systems and control technology outside the main areas:

  • Pipelines, fittings
  • Pumps, sprayers
  • Fans, blowers and compressors
  • Clutches, gear units
  • Preheating and degassing systems
  • Propellant delivery
  • Cooling towers
  • Hazardous material storage and dosing technology
  • Protective devices
  • Water processing and wastewater handling
  • Electrical systems and I&C equipment

Our range of services in this sector is as diverse as the power plant industry. We offer comprehensive solutions from a single source for a wide range of customer requirements in plant engineering, plant assembly, commissioning and service.

In accordance with the Water Resources Act (WHG) in conjunction with the Ordinance on Facilities for Handling Substances Hazardous to Water (AwSV), we are authorized as a specialist company in accordance with Section 62 AwSV to erect, clean, repair and decommission facilities that handle liquids hazardous to water.

In addition, we have the authorization according to Section 25 of the Radiation Protection Act (StrlSchG) to employ staff in third-party nuclear facilities (e.g. in nuclear power plants).
